The Groove!

The Groove Method is a revolutionary approach to dance and fitness that allows people of all ages, stages and abilities to dance their way to a healthy body, mind and spirit!

The Groove class is unlike any other.  You’ll soon find out there is NO wrong way, NO following-the-leader (instructor), NO left or right side, NO front or back of the room, NO rules!  Learn easy moves and add your own flavour.  There is no more complex choreography or intimidating moves.  You no longer need to worry about being coordinated enough, having a dancers rhythm or feeling intimidated.     You can adjust your move to fit YOUR body’s needs.  The Groove is for everyone!

This new method incorporates a free flowing approach that guides you through suggested movements you then make your own, in a way that is appropriate for your own body!

This NON-follow-the-leader approach places the focus on you the participant, and encourages your own creativity to take over, to feel the beat, to move in a way that benefits your body in everyday life, and to be in the moment in your dance!

Since there is NO front of the room, participants will step out of their ‘box’ and dance throughout the entire space.  An added bonus…you’ll even see the faces of the others in your class!  You might even find yourself high-fiving another dancer or stopping to dance it out with a partner.
