Zumba® Dance-a-thon- Education Week

During Education Week students at St. Stephen Catholic School in Stittsville, Ontario will be dancing their hearts in order to raise money for acquiring high tech Smart Boards for their classrooms.   Principal, Mary-Anne Cowan has decided to add a Zumba portion for an extra element of fun!

As a way to add variety to the club’s land training, their coach is bringing in various fitness modalities.  In April I will be teaching  two half-hour Zumba sessions for these amazing mini marathoners!

Family Dance Night @ St. Stephen Catholic School in Stittsville

To bring something new to the evening’s Family Dance, I have been asked to demonstrate 3-4 Zumba songs with the children (grades JK to 6) and their families.  The kids will wiggle, stomp, hop and drum their little hearts out to some exciting, upbeat music!  Zumba is a great way to get the children moving while having a great time.

The songs for the evening include:

• Iko Iko
• Jai Ho
• Fire Burning
• Zumba Zamba

Bring Zumba to your school!

Zumba is a great way to spice up an activity day, add to your extra-curricular activities or to create a unique fundraiser.
